Our focus is to leave a positive and confident impact of knowledge and encouragement in the lives of all women and men actively affected by Breast Cancer, those that care for them and those that take the vow to "press" along the way with them.
This sisterhood is unbreakable. God strategically placed us together in the most amazing way. We are all connected spiritually. Our hearts are strung together by faith, prayer and belief that we have a purpose bigger than anything we've been connected to until now. Through supporting me through my fight, these amazing women have taken the vow to stay the course right beside me, fight the fight and be the voice against Breast Cancer. We are proud to be the example for all the "circles" of friends, sisters, mothers, aunts, nieces and wives in our community as we promise to keep our hands "Pressed" together to always "Press" for you.

After caring for my mother during her fight against cancer, it still did not prepare me for the loss of her on May 8, 2008. That day, my life as I knew it would change forever. Loosing my mother created a stronger strength and bond between myself and my three amazing sons Jerod 24, Matthew 19 and Christopher Alexander 15. The overwhelming force I had to care for and cover my mother shifted and continued with them. As I carried the same desire to help others in my heart, I dedicated years to the medical field in nursing from fresh beginnings in Neurology to comfortably settling in Hematology/Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Providing care and attention to my patients during their chemo treatments, I felt a rewarding fulfillment that carried on from my days with my mother. Having first hand knowledge of cancer and its path, being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2017 was the most devastating news I could ever image receiving. Walking out of my doctors office, I found myself sitting on a bench speechless with concerns, questions, fear and doubt. After three surgeries, chemo, radiation and the trust of the good Lord and Savior, not once did I allow myself to lose my fight, my strength or my hope. I accepted the fact that my destiny and purpose was now bigger than just me. With my trust still in Gods hands, I knew that I had to step forward and follow his instructions. On August 9, 2018 I transformed my mothers fight and the fight for myself into a fight for others by launching this foundation. I have taken on the responsibility of educating, supporting and mentoring other women and men that may face life challenges with this journey and the love ones that stand with them. Once a year, Ipress For Life provides a free community seminar to educate, support and bring awareness to Breast Cancer and the importance of early detection, prevention, annual mammograms and self examinations. Is it my deepest desire to make this world cancer free by pressing through for others just as I pressed for myself. My motto is "Saving A Life One Press At A Time". Not only do I stand firm on this, I live and believe it.
Going into the first IPress seminar, I attended to help and support my sister and friend in Christ. After leaving that event, I was in awe and amazed at what Natausha had endured, created and now share. My initial stance remained to be as helpful as possible in any area needed until I was met with my own scare. I learned very quickly how difficult it is (but shouldn't be) to just get a mammogram scheduled. God blessed me with the experience to help and truly understand what this foundation is about. I'm not just in this for Natausha, I'm in this for all women
As a Breast Cancer survivor, I can see the passion that Natausha, and fellow IPress members have when it comes to bringing awareness to Breast Cancer. Natausha being a survivor also, is making it a point to not only take care of her health, but also taking a stand to take care of others through education of symptoms to treatments. IPress goal is to have men and women know the signs. Early detection is key to saving as many lives from this disease by bringing awareness. The dedication and passion that IPress possess is why I stand with IPress. We look forward to having you stand with us.
